Cadet Club Double Hander Day
Open to juniors aged between 7 and 18 who have minimum RYA Stage 3, or who are regular Cadet Club particpants.
We plan to spend the day sailing the club Fevas, or Fusions with added jib if we run out of working Fevas. We seldom use double handers in Cadet Club so this is a good chance to broaden experience and develop double handed skills.
Coached by Ian Watts, Senior Instructor with lots of double handed enthusiasm.
Limited to 8 participants - 6 sailing in pairs in the three best club Fevas and 2 sailing as a pair in a Fusion with jib sail.
Parents do not have to stay on site all day, but if they leave they should nominate another parent to act in loco parentis during their absence. We need to have at least three parents around to be available on shore or help in the powerboat.
Packed lunch needed. And warm sailing stuff, minimum ankle to wrist wetsuit plus spray jacket, or drysuit.
Arrive 9:30, finish and off the water 3:30.
