King George Gallop 2025

The King George Gallop - biggest Open Meeting of our year - makes decent money for the club and is a fantastic spectacle to watch.

Be a competitor or join the volunteer team. Counts towards your yearly club duties. We need powerboat drivers and crew, galley volunteers, carpark and gate marshalls, bodies to help pull boats up the hill, and a race committee team.

It's a fun day (although often a little chilly!) Be part of it :-)

Event timings will be added closer to the date - carpark/gate volunteers will be needed for the early couple of hours only. Event volunteers who can only commit to the morning can do their stint pulling boats up the hill and helping to launch. Those who can only commit to the afternoon can help with recovery and clear up. Rescue drivers and crew will be needed all day. If we have enough we can rotate if needed.
